流言终结﹕法国报纸对拿破仑的报道，揭开不为人知的真相

 以下是流传已久的故事，随便在搜索引擎搜寻，不管是法文、英文、中文，或者是其他文字，都可找到，只是有很多不同的文本，不知哪个是真，我猜是lost in translation，被简化了，唯有不厌其烦，找到原来的序列。

法国报纸《Le Moniteur Universel》创办于1789年11月24日，即法国大革命之时，是法国的半政府官媒，好比国民党统治台湾时期的《中央日报》、《中国时报》、《联合报》。据说，它在1815年3月，拿破仑从被监禁的厄尔巴岛逃脱后，其一系列的标题是：

3月9日：吃人巨兽离开了他的地牢。(L’anthropophage est sorti de son repaire./Anthropophagus has quitted his den.)

3月10日：科西嘉食人魔登陆儒安港。(L’ogre de Corse vient de débarquer au golfe Juan./Corsican Ogre has landed at Cape Juan.)

3月11日：老虎抵达了加普。(Le tigre est arrivé à Gap./Tiger has arrived at Gap.)

3月12日：怪物在格勒诺布尔过夜。(Le monstre a couché à Grenoble.

/Monster slept at Grenoble.)

3月13日：暴君越过里昂。(Le tyran a traversé Lyon./Tyrant has passed through Lyons.)

3月14日：反贼正向第戎进发，然而勇敢及忠心的布根地人正蜂拥着全方位围攻他。(Usurper is directing his steps towards Dijon, but the brave and loyal Burgundians have risen en masse and surrounded him on all side.)

3月18日：拿破仑距离首都只有6里格(18英里)，他刚幸运地逃离追逐者之。(Bonaparte is only sixty leagues from the capital; he has been fortunate enough to escape the hands of his pursuers.)

14日及18日的法文原文：L’usurpateur a été vu à soixante lieues de la capitale.正是由于文本有异，我找到了不同的英文和法文版。中文版也有很多不同文本，不录。

3月19日：拿破仑快速进军，但他将永远无法到达巴黎。(Bonaparte s’avance à grands pas, mais il n’entrera jamais dans Paris./Bonaparte is advancing with rapid steps, but he will never enter Paris.)

3月20日：拿破仑将在明天抵达我们的城下。(Napoléon sera demain sous nos remparts./Napoleon will, tomorrow, be under our ramparts.)

3月21日：皇上现在枫丹白露。(L’empereur est arrivé à Fontainebleau./ Emperor is at Fontainbleau.)

3月22日：皇帝陛下昨晚在万众拥戴的欢呼声中到达杜乐丽宫。(Sa Majesté Impériale et Royale a fait hier son entrée en son château des Tuileries au milieu de ses fidèles sujets./His Imperial and Royal Majesty, yesterday evening, arrived at the Tuileries, amidst the joyful acclamations of his devoted and faithful subjects.)

以上故事流传虽广，不过有人逐日搜寻过1815年3月的《Le Moniteur Universel》，证明以上的juicy故事纯属虚构，但也正因太过juicy了，因此流传甚广，无远弗届，甚至中国。
